 Casa Mullaney is a fully-furnished, air conditioned, smoke-free Mexican villa
The villa features a very large living room with Satellite TV, DVD and VCR. The dining room seats eight. The kitchen has a refrigerator/freezer, range, oven and microwave, plus all the small appliances and dinnerware necessary to serve eight. Adjacent is a laundry area with a full size washer and dryer.
Ocean View and Private Swimming Pool
There is an open porch across the front of the villa with a view of the ocean, and a screened porch on the side. The patio at the rear overlooks a freshwater pool, where a charming spiral staircase leads to a very private sundeck with ocean views. At poolside is a gas-fired barbeque.
Comfortable and Roomy
The villa offers three air-conditioned bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, a large closet with safe, and a bathroom with sunken marble tub, shower, and bidet. The second bedroom has a king size bed, large closets, and a bathroom with double sink and stall shower. The third bedroom, on the second floor, is very large with two twin beds and a bunk bed, a large closet, and a bathroom with both tub and shower.
 Great Location
The beautiful private beach is just ten meters away from Casa Mullaney. Casa Mullaney is just a short walk to the fun and funky town of Playa del Carmen, the ferry to Cozumel and Playa del Carmen’s pedestrian walkway, La Quinta Avenida (5th Avenue), where you will find many, many shops and restaurants. There are many sports and activities available on-site or nearby.

Visit nearby Mayan Ruins of Tulum and Chichen Itza or take a short road trip to Coba. Enjoy the many underground freshwater cenotes along the way. The house is great! Very spacious -- loved the pool. The sundeck has perfect privacy and at night great star gazing. The beach is very clean. My kids (10, 14, 16) can't wait to come back!

We had a great two weeks in Casa Mullaney. I always remember a line from a Hercule Poirot story in which a character wakes up each morning and says: "Another perfect day in Paradise." That was how we felt! The only concession we made to acting stuffy like we do at home was watching TV at night on a few occasions that we were not doing something else. The rest of the time we played, swam, ate, read and shopped. We were the first ones to use the pool which had just been resurfaced so it was sometimes a difficult choice to decide if we should even go across the street to the beautiful Caribbean.
Since our last visit to Playa there were some nice new restaurants in town and a new kitchen stove was installed the morning we arrived. The nice part about the house is not only that it is an excellent structure with all the amenities but it is really near to everything.
Senor Mullaney, thank you for a great house that made us feel like we really belonged. We will be happy to go back!
